I started a journal this year and I hope to continue writing an entry in it everyday.  So far so good.  I figure if each day is glorious and wonderful, I should find something to write about each and everyday.  And today the Broncos play the Patriots.  Go Broncos.

Yes, I bowled another 300 game last week.  They seem to be coming in spurts.  Not sure how to explain it.  Maybe there’s nothing to explain but to enjoy. 

12 December was my 20 year anniversary with the dental practice.  Just seems like yesterday Dr. Kekkonen handed me the keys to the office.  20 years means I’m seeing more of the next generation of patients.  The kids I treated 20 years ago now have kids of their own.  This means I passed my mid life crisis and heading towards retirement.  This means I’m old and my hearing and eye sight will begin to deteriorate.  This means I can get away with things just by being old like farting in public and picking my nose.  Long ago, I read that success is not what you do but by how long you do it for.  Without the loyal patients over the years and my hard working staff, none of this would be possible.  I thank everyone that I have had the chance to meet and treat.  You are all living my dream.  Wishing everyone a fantastic NEW YEAR in 2012.

The very first time I bowled a 300 game was 10/10/10.  And today I bowled my 2nd 300 game.  I got a little nervous around the 11th and 12th strike.  It never crossed my mind if I was going to bowl a 300 game or not because my focus was on just throwing one more strike.  It seemed to help.  It was very exciting after it was over and it made for a very good day.

People talk about "finding" their lives.  In reality, your life is not something you find - it’s something you create.

The first chess club meeting was yesterday and it was great fun with everyone that showed up.  Coffee and bagels for breakfast and a few games of chess.  The next meeting will be on 04 December, starting at 7am.  And it will probably run until 11am.  If you are interested, please email me at drwongdds@qwestoffice.net
